Rauland ski center

Rauland Ski Center offers the longest slopes and is perfect for families. Here you'll find chairlifts and great off-piste opportunities. The longest run stretches over 2,000 meters.

There’s something for everyone – from complete beginners to those seeking more advanced challenges.

You can choose from 28 slopes, giving you the chance to explore new runs all day long! There are steep trails for the daring, off-piste and powder runs, a terrain park, and jumps.

Cross-country skiing

Rauland offers a fantastic skiing terrain, with a season stretching from November to May. Whether you’re a recreational skier or a dedicated cross-country enthusiast, the conditions are ideal for long and enjoyable days in the snow.

Tobogganing opportunities

At Vierli you’ll find Norway’s largest sled lift center, with three dedicated toboggan runs. All necessary equipment is available for rent, ensuring an optimal sledding experience.

The sledding area is now open with three groomed runs. At the top, simply unhook your sled — and exciting descents up to 1,000 meters long await you. You control the speed!

In Vinje Municipality, there are hundreds of small and large lakes, covering a total area of 250 km². To fish, you’ll need to purchase a fishing license specific to the lake or area you wish to fish in.

Children under 16 years old can fish for free – just remember to bring valid ID.
